Pauline's Corner originated in 2020, at the conception of the COVID-19 pandemic. While we physically had to constrict ourself to our homes during state-mandated lock downs, that catapulted the exact environment I needed to bloom in my gift from God. I have invariably been super creative, but for the purpose of Pauline's Corner, I integrated my creativity with my passion for food. 

During adolescence, I had the privilege of growing up around both of my grandmothers, Pauline Barbery (1934-2024) and Pauline "Polly" Webb (1943-2006), who constantly created in the kitchen. They possessed so much soul, and it undoubtedly could be distinguished within every bite. 

My grandmothers taught me the basics of everything I know, and I'm eternally grateful for the time I could connect with them in the kitchen. I aspire to emulate the comforting environment I experienced every time I shared a kitchen with them. And as a result, I now make this my legacy. That will be accomplished by sharing all the love and values they taught me, with the world, how I see it. So many stories were told to me through meals, and I will continue this compilation of stories through innovative channels.
